Pools and Hot Tubs

NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY

Central Park has two large pools. "Pool 1" is located directly behind the Clubhouse; "Pool 2" is about 200 feet west, behind the Fitness Center and volleyball court. Both pools are roughly the same size and range from 3' at the shallow end to 7' at the deep end. The pools are not heated, but each pool has its own heated jacuzzi hot tub. Pool 1 has a substantially bigger patio area but both pools have ample chairs, tables and sun beds provided for your enjoyment.

POOL RULES:

Animals are prohibited in pool, pool deck, spa area, or grill area;
Glass containers of any kind strictly prohibited;
All guests must be accompanied by a resident;
Children under (12) twelve must be accompanied by an adult resident;
Proper bathing attire must be worn (no cut-offs, jeans, thong bathing suits or diapers);
No horseplay or running;
No Diving
Shower before entering pool or spa.

PREGNANT WOMEN, SMALL CHILDREN, PEOPLE WITH HEALTH PROBLEMS, AND PEOPLE USING ALCOHOL, NARCOTICS OR ANY OTHER DRUG THAT CAUSES DROWSINESS SHOULD NOT USE THE SPA OR POOLS WITHOUT FIRST CONSULTING A DOCTOR.

Gym & Fitness Center

Central Park boasts an impressive gym filled with a wide variety of weight machines and cardiovascular workout machines, such as treadmills, ellipticals, stair climbers and bikes. There are no free weights, but there are more than enough machines to allow workouts for all parts of the body.

The Fitness Center also has a large aerobics room, which can be used for yoga, dance and pilates. The gym is air conditioned and even has free cable TV !

FITNESS CENTER RULES

Gym Hours: 24 hours a day (Members Only)

No one under 18 years of age is allowed to use any of the equipment.
Do not open door for people who do not have a key.
To ensure a comfortable atmosphere for everyone, please be courteous and respectful of others using the facilities.
During peak hours (or while others are waiting) limit your time on the treadmill, stair-climber, stationary cycle, etc. to between 20 and 30 minutes.
Please pick up your towels, water bottles, newspapers, or magazines.
Wipe down each piece of equipment for the next user.
Wear proper attire (no "cut-off shorts" or sandals).
No food or beverages (except water).
When using the Fitness Center you must carry your Resident I.D. Card with you (Security reserve the right to request it at any time).

Please use the equipment responsibly. Read and follow all posted instructions & notices. The Association cannot accept responsibility for injuries sustained through improper use of the equipment, nor can it guarantee the function or serviceability of each machine at any particular time. If necessary, consult your doctor before using the equipment for the first time.

Tennis Courts

Another popular amenity at Central Park are the two full size hard courts provided for residents' use. Make sure you contact the Management office and get your gym key because you'll need it to get into the court area. Court hours are 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Tennis Court Rules:

Court is for tennis use only.
Only tennis shoes are allowed on the court. (No black soled shoes).
No food or glass containers in the court area.
No pets are allowed.
No roller blades, skateboards or bicycles.
No persons under 12 permitted without an adult.
Management is not responsible for any accidents or injuries while using this facility.
You must have your resident ID card with you.

Beach Volleyball Court

Central Park has one amenity that you don't see very often. A full size beach volleyball court.

In case you didn't know 'Olympic Beach Volleyball' is a sport played by teams of 2 per side, but we have witnessed "open invitation" games of 10 or more a side on this court and great fun was had by all !
